Animals at Les Sables d’Olonne Zoo
Experience an immersive visit with the Zoo’s caretakers
The Zoo des Sables offers a wide range of fun activities to punctuate your visit. In addition to themed days depending on the calendar, the park also offers lunchtime activities. These will give you a better understanding of the lifestyles of the species you see on your walk, as well as how the zoo is run and organized. You’ll also get a better idea of what it’s like to work as an animal caretaker, and all the tasks involved: preparing meals, maintaining areas, special care… Watching the animals feast on their favorites has made you hungry? Two options are open to you: you can either head for the snack bar, or take your pre-prepared picnic and sit down in the designated areas. And if your visit doesn’t coincide with a special event, you can be sure that your walk will be punctuated by the spectacle of flora and fauna. There’s always something to see at Les Sables Zoo! Cameras and cell phones are of course recommended to immortalize those special moments with the animals.
