Ideally situated between the Marais Poitevin and Les Sables d’Olonne, facing the Ile de Ré and just 45 minutes from La Rochelle, this seaside town welcomes you to the sun-drenched beaches of the Atlantic coast.
There are many sports and leisure activities to enjoy during your stay, including swimming, surfing, sailing (windsurfing and sand yachting), paddling, and cycling with 20 km of cycle paths just outside the campsite….
And let’s not forget the 13 km of fine sandy beaches where you can spend some quality time in the sun.

At the beach
From the lighthouse to the Belle Henriette, numerous well-supervised beaches welcome you for moments of idleness. For children, we recommend the central beach bordering downtown La Tranche.
Here you can relax, have lunch in one of the many beach huts serving meals to suit all tastes, and even take advantage of our proximity to the town center to end the day with a delicious homemade ice cream.

La Tranche-sur-Mer is renowned for its many surf spots, including the famous Bud Bud at Les Conches, where numerous surf schools offer surfing lessons and board rentals.
Along the central beach is the nautical base and its pond, where you can enjoy all kinds of water sports with the whole family: windsurfing, dinghy sailing and even wake-boarding.
